curd rice

Ingtedients:
Cooked rice - 1 bowl
Fresh curd - 1 cup(slight sour)
Milk - 2 cup
Curryleaves - few
Grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seed - 1 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Dry red chilli split - 4to 5
Pomegranate - handful
                 Or
Grated carrot - 1 ( small)
Asofeditida powder - 1 tsp
Salt - as required

Preparation:
Step - 1
pressure cook the rice
Step - 2
slightly mash the rice with the masher or whisk .don't over mash ,then add salt ,curd and mix it.
Step - 3
Add milk,In a small kadai heat oil add mustard seed, curryleaves,grated gingerdry red chilli and asafoetidapowder for tempering.
Step - 4
add this tempering and chopped coriander leavesto the curd rice and mix it nicely.if needed further add little milk and curd.
Step- 5
Transfer to a serving bowl garnish with chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate
Step - 6serve this curd rice with pickle and coriander chutney.
