Tomato pulav

ingredients
Basmati rice - 1 cup
Tomato - 3 medium sized
Onion - 1 
Green chilli - 3 to 4
Coriander leaves  - few
Garamasala or biryanimasala - 1 tbsp
Turmeric pd - 1/2 tsp
Chilli pd- 1tsp
Cumin seed -  1 tsp
Fennelseed - 1 tsp
Oil or ghee - 3 tbsp
Salt - as required
Green peas - 1/2 cup
Ginger  - 1 small inch
Garlic - 3 to 4
Kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
Water - 2 cups

Step - 1
soak the rice for 10 min.
Step - 2
Grind tomato,coriander leaves,green chilli,ginger,garlic into coarsely
Step - 3Chop the onion into fine.
Step - 4
Take a pressure pan heat oil or ghee add cumin and fennel seed wait till it splutter.
Step - 5
add chopped onion.
Step - 6
add kasuri methi and saute for a min
Step - 7
add tomato paste and saute for for five min then add chilli pd,turmeric pd , garamasala and salt.
Step - 8
saute nicely till oil seperates.
Step - 9
add green peas ,rice and mix well
Step - 10
 
Add water close the lid ,take 2 whislte and keep sim for 5 min and switch off the gas.
Step - 11
Tomato pulav is ready
Step - 12
serve with cucumber carrot raita and potato chips.
